Twice a year, Nevada residents complain about having to either spring forward or fall back. Calls for an end to changing the clocks are legion, but thus far, neither Congress nor the state Legislature has taken any action that would keep us from spending time changing the time on clocks, watches and bedside alarms.

Here's what you need to know. Nevada has set its clocks forward an hour every spring and set them back every fall nearly every year since 1966 in observance of daylight saving time, along with most of the United States.
